Streaming Video for Faculty & Staff

DCCC Library knows that streaming video is a crucial resource for instruction and to the DCCC community. The following databases are available for faculty and staff to make requests for streaming video titles. The Library approves requests based on multiple factors including but not limited to:

  • Available funds
  • Title availability (Is the title available in a cheaper format or through a different resource?)
  • Pedagogical or programming relevance (How will the content be used? Is an equivalent available?)
  • Class size or anticipated audience (How many need access?)

Please be aware that the Library dedicates a predetermined amount of funds to streaming video each semester. Once those funds are used, the Library will be unable to purchase additional streaming video licenses. Faculty and staff may use any existing licensed video from any of the following databases in any DCCC course. All licenses are for one year.

Interlibrary Loan

DCCC Library offers interlibary loan, a service where DCCC library borrows books and articles from other libraries. DCCC students, faculty, and staff that have no lost items are eligible for interlibrary loan services. To place an interlibrary loan request, complete the Interlibrary Loan form.
